Caregivers of vulnerable children are eligible to receive live poultry to assist them in starting a small business. A portion of income profited from their business is used to pay back Mercy Touch in order to assist other caregivers in starting similar business ventures.
Over the years we have introduced various training sessions for the children in our homes, as well as those we support outside of the homes to learn different skills. This is in order to identify their strengths and equip them with skills they can use to generate income. These sessions have included tailoring, cookery, knitting, art and more.
